Education Facilitator
Aliza Saper (she/her) serves as an education facilitator at CSU Spur. Having grown up in Denver, she has seen the city morph and change over the years, and holds an innate passion for outdoor education, recreation, and sustainability because of it. With a background in theatre arts, community building, and education, she is thrilled to engage with visitors of Spur, generating interest and excitement around all of the happenings on campus.
Aliza holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Coastal Carolina University. As a post-graduate, she completed an AmeriCorps Service Year as a Resident Teaching Artist, has led summer camp instruction at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and has orchestrated community storytelling events with local nonprofit, Soul Stories Denver. She has six years of experience working in, and around nonprofit organizations, developing youth programming, and arts-focused curriculum. Aliza is keen on delivering high quality, accessible, informal education that highlights the intersectional nature of art and science. Outside of her work, she enjoys reading, nature walks, eating yummy food, and spending quality time with her community.
