Produce Safety Alliance Training

Apr 20, 2023 @ 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

If you’re a farmer or greenhouse grower of fresh fruits and vegetables interested in learning and/or meeting regulatory requirements from the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule, this workshop is for you.

In this 1-day course trainers will spend approximately 8.5 hours of instruction covering content specific to the produce safety rule and will provide participants with additional information and hands-on activities to support their understanding and implementation of this rule.

This PSA grower training course satisfies the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirement outlined in §112.22 (c) that requires “At least one supervisor or responsible party for your farm must have successfully completed food safety training at least equivalent to that received under standardized curriculum recognized as adequate by the Food and Drug Administration.”
